Construction for our Youth Drop-In Center, Lifting Youth Up, has begun!
This center represents a significant step forward in our commitment to supporting unhoused and LGBTQ+ youth in Hollywood. It will provide a safe, welcoming space where young people can access essential services, resources, and support. Our drop-in center will be a beacon of hope and a hub of opportunity for some of the most marginalized youth, ages 12 – 25, in our community.
A few key features of the drop-in center will include:
- A safe space where youth can relax and find respite from the busy streets of Hollywood.
- Access to shower and laundry facilities, food, clothing, and hygiene supplies.
- Mental health services, case management, healthcare referrals, educational support, and job placement assistance.
- Community and connection to support them in their journey to independent living.
