Clients Served, Families Supported
Last fiscal year (July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023), Aviva delivered comprehensive care across four core program areas, offering healing, renewal, and hope to some 2,393 clients. Aviva’s capacity to improve children’s lives and build stronger, more cohesive families for resilience and permanency was demonstrated in the impact our programs had in the lives of nearly 6,575 children, their parents, caregivers, family and household members.
Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
We are also dedicated to lifting-up and amplifying the voices of the families we serve. We are committed to advancing equity and inclusion in all aspects of our work. As such, Aviva established a Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee (JEDI) to identify opportunities and lead initiatives such as the analysis of internal diversity data and internal systems to promote greater inclusion. With JEDI Committee leadership, we seek ways to foster safe environments, support and our advocate for people of all racial, ethnic, religious and gender identities, faiths, abilities, and those who identify as LGBTQ+, both internally, with clients, partners, and in the community at large.
Our Ambitious Objectives & Bold Vision
We are committed to build on Hamburger Home’s formidable 108-year-strong foundation to meet today’s significant demand for our direct services among at-risk children and marginalized families throughout Los Angeles County.
